I recently tried an app called Screen Stream to cast my phone’s screen to my laptop to save my eyes from straining. This app streams my screen as an MJPEG file which I can view in my browser by accessing an address. However, when I tried to load the address on Firefox, it won’t load the stream and shows a blank screen instead. This doesn’t happen when I switched to Chrome.
According to an answers on StackExchange, the solution is by directly loading the MJPEG file, which can be done by adding .mjpeg behind the stream’s address, like http://10.10.10.10:8080.mjpeg. This fixes the problem, but it turns out that a better solution came from Screen Stream itself: Go to the settings and check ‘Disable MJPEG check’. The stream would load as normal on Firefox.
